I’m not sure the doctor will allow you to have a vasectomy and colonoscopy on the same day only due to the fact that the testes will be extremely sensitive and pained, and doing something else in that region will probably be unbearable. Have the colonoscopy and then talk to your doctor about having a vasectomy. He will run through the risks, procedures, cautions, etc without the rush. He will probably recommend that you have time to think about whether you truly wish to have it. You may rush into it but he will want you to think about what that could mean for your future of having children and such.
You probably will just have to make sure your genitals are clean and just wear something that will support your genitals for after the procedure, you may have to shave the front part of your scrotal sacs, not take aspirin for 10 days before the procedure and just have any questions you may have prepared to ask him. After the vasectomy, you will need to keep ice on your testicles for a little while (about 24 hours after) , keep from lifting heavy objects, stay off your feet and wear cotton protectors or briefs to support the newly operated area.
